Part B – Use of cookies
5. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on a visitor’s device; a similar technology is storing data in browser storage (localStorage). They serve mainly to ensure the site’s functionality and to measure its use.
6. Cookie categories and consent
In accordance with Section 89(3) of Act No. 127/2005 Coll., the site stores or reads information from a visitor’s device that is not strictly necessary only on the basis of the visitor’s prior consent given via the cookie bar. Consent is voluntary, can be given per category and withdrawn or changed at any time in the cookie settings on the site.
| Category | Purpose | Examples | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary (technical) | site operation, shopping cart, keeping session and settings | cart and configurator contents (localStorage), technical session | not required |
| Analytics | measuring traffic and behaviour, improving services | PostHog – pseudonymous identifier (ph_… cookie, ~12 months), interaction autocapture | required |
| Session recording | recording on-page movement for usability analysis | PostHog session recording (with input masking) | required |
7. PostHog analytics tool
The site uses PostHog to measure traffic and analyse usage. Data is processed on servers in the European Union (eu.posthog.com) and collection runs in a first-party context. PostHog stores a pseudonymous identifier and records interactions and (where consented) session recordings; form inputs are masked during recording. The tool is activated only after consent to analytics cookies is granted; until then no analytics cookies are stored and no data is sent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time in the cookie settings, which ends analytics data collection.
8. Managing and withdrawing consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer, or by deleting cookies in your browser. Most browsers also let you block cookies globally; in that case full site functionality may not be preserved.
